The department invited its new members and their families, as well as other members of the Max Planck Institute to a Welcome Reception at November 25th, 2010.

07.02.2011 Arrival of new scanner

The Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences received a new scanner.

We were happy to welcome a very special guest, the Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard, at the department in order to use the scanner for first time.

31.05.2011 Opening of Heidi-Lounge

Next to our lab and office space, we have a welcoming lounge, which the department rearranged and called “Heidi-Lounge”. The opening took place in May 2011.

23.07.2011 Opening of Satellite lab "Haus 5" in Berlin

In the past 1.5 years, the department completely restored a building at the Humboldt University, Charité Campus Nord, in Berlin.
This satellite lab provides us with additional testing space and is simply called "Haus 5".
