We are buying single ebooks and (maybe in future) eBook subject packages, too. The access to these is limited to the institute. These ebooks can be searched in our OPAC.

So far, some ebook packages have been licensed centrally by the MPG for all institutes. A central MPG Books Cataloge has been built up where these ebooks can be found in (excluding Dissertations & Theses by ProQuest).

To avoid the necessity of searching in both catalogues, all central MPG eBooks are integrated in our OPAC. Thus, any search query is processed in the institute`s library data and the central ebook metadata at the same time. The ebook results are displayed in an own window on top of the page. You can switch to a certain ebook entry and the respective full text link by clicking on the linked title of the book, respectively. To see the whole result list in the ebooks catalogue, just click on the link "...Please switch to the MPG eBooks Catalogue to see all".

All ebooks can be accessed within the institutes IP range or by way of remote access.
