The Database Management (or DBM) Group is responsible for the preservation and curation of the Institute’s databases and associated digital resources. It oversees the day-to-day running and maintenance of a number of active databases of patients, children, test subjects/probands and studies conducted at the MPI CBS.

The Database Management Group will also ensure the long-term sustainability and usability of these resources by using and developing tools and software that conform to best practice standards and will enable the group to implement efficiently the various aspects of the data management lifecycle at the Institute.
