Regular meetings

Every 3 weeks, Thursday. Get involved!

We consider the Open Science Initiative as a joint effort. What we can do depends on everyone's engagement. In our regular meetings we want to offer a platform where you can bring in your open science ideas and can take an active role in making ideas happen. Be it your own ideas or those of others. Whether it is the organization of a particular workshop, inviting a speaker, writing a resource page on how to preregister studies, lobbying for changes within the institute that help us practice science more openly, etc. Our regular meeting is the place to pitch your idea and get others engaged.

Everyone in the institute is welcome to attend our meetings to provide input, take up responsibilities or tasks, or just to be kept up to date. Smaller task forces will be created to take responsibility for the organization of a certain idea or event. This allows you to get actively engaged in projects that are close to your heart and fit your time schedule.

To share the workload, the meetings will have a rotating chair and secretary (to be agreed on in the previous meeting). The chair is responsible for drafting the agenda and chairing the meeting. The secretary is responsible for taking minutes.

The meetings take place every three weeks on Thursdays from 12 - 1pm online. The zoom-link is distributed via our email list.
