Overcoming the concept of "Homo Economicus"

In her neuroscientific research, Tania Singer explores the question of what motivates and drives people and their actions. The results of this research indicate that the concept of Homo Economicus does not represent the real complexity of human nature adequately. In her contribution to this year's summit meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Tania Singer explained the importance of overcoming the ubiquitous concept of Homo Economicus and the necessity to develop new models of worldwide cooperation.
