The final sentence in Paul Lauterbur's seminal paper on MRI is "Zeugmatographic techniques (imaging) should find many useful applications in studies of the internal structures, states, and compositions of microscopic objects.".

This talk will explore the use of magnetic resonance microscopy to define connectivity in tissue specimens at spatial resolution up to 300.000 times that of clinical MRI. We will discuss methods and application in animal models and human tissues.
