How can I participate?

Watching the Live-Streams

You can simply follow the individual lectures live and for free on our YouTube channel. No registration is required. To never miss a lecture, subscribe to our public calendar (.iCal file). We also recommend subscribing to our newsletter to stay up-to-date.

Attendees can post questions direclty in the live-stream chat, or via Twitter using the hashtag #LeipzigLang21. Members of the Organising Committee will be monitoring the YouTube chat and Twitter posts so that selected and/or most voted questions can be directed to the speakers.

Click here to see the complete list of lectures in the year 2021. You can also subscribe to the dedicated playlist on YouTube containing all scheduled live streams.

Participating via Zoom

In parallel to the YouTube stream, a small number of attendees may directly join the Zoom meetings hosting the lectures. Due to the limited capacity of our virtual meeting room, a maximum of 300 participants can be admitted to each Zoom meeting.

For each Zoom meeting, links to the individual registration form can be found below:

Allow 2-3 days for your registration to be approved. After approval, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing further instructions and the link to the meeting room. On the day of the event, registration is possible up to the last minute (we will be montoring registrations and approve last-minute registrations).

Access to the Zoom meeting rooms is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will try to accommodate the needs of junior reserachers and others who would strongly prefer to join the Zoom room instead of following the live stream.

Zoom attendees can post questions in the meeting chat or via Twitter, using the hashtag #LeipzigLang21. Selected questions will be directed to the speaker.

End-of-Year Symposium

The two keynote lectures of the end-of-year symposium will be live streamed on YouTube. Participation in the different hands-on sessions and the poster session requires prior registration.

Interested reserachers of all levels can register here for free to participate in the symposium. Notice that reserachers who also submit an abstract for the virtual poster session together with their registration will be given priority. Please see this page for details on the event, time table, call for abstracts (including formatting instructions).

The deadline for registration is July 31, 2021.
