Main Focus
My research aims to understand how microscale neurobiological mechanisms such as excitation-inhibition balance shape macroscale brain function, and how they may be impaired in psychiatric disorders. I approach this using computational neuroscience and neuroimaging with a focus on fMRI data. I am also interested in synthesizing existing data through meta-analysis, and in open, reproducible science, including developing and sharing tools for analyzing brain data.
