Understanding how the human brain processes complex, naturalistic information remains a central challenge in neuroscience and artificial intelligence.

The Algonauts Project 2025 Challenge at CCN 2025 (https://algonautsproject.com) provided an open and quantitative benchmark to evaluate how well computational models predict brain activity in response to multimodal stimuli.

This event features the three winning teams presenting their approaches and key findings.

Their work highlights recent advances in modeling brain responses and improving generalization across conditions.

Two of the winning teams are affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (MPI CBS), and one with Meta Research.

The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion on current challenges and future directions in computational neuroscience.
