Main Focus

My research takes place in the OMEGA lab at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (MPI CBS) in collaboration with the Day Clinic for Cognitive Neurology at the University of Leipzig Medical Center.

In my PhD project, MIFOOD, I focus on the effects of neurocognitive behavioral and dietary fiber interventions on food decision-making and the gut-brain axis in obesity. My aim is to develop novel preventive and therapeutic strategies to combat unhealthy weight gain.
