Main Focus

I am a PhD student at Lise Meitner Research Group Cognition and Plasticity led by Dr. Gesa Hartwigsen. My main research interest lies in exploring plasticity of the neural network for language with neuroimaging. Currently, I am working with Prof. Dorothee Saur and Dr. Gesa Hartwigsen on investigating the changes in effective connectivity in the language and multiple-demand network after left temporo-parietal and frontal stroke.

Previously, I obtained my MSc degree in Language Sciences (with specialisation in Neuroscience and Communication) with Distinction at University College London. My master thesis project examined the effects of an auditory training programme among older adults using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) under the supervision of Prof. Peter Howell and Dr. Guangting Mai.
