Main Focus

I am a postdoctoral researcher with a multi-disciplinary background who works at the interface of neuroscience, image processing, data analytics and clinical research. My aspiration is to identify reliable and biologically specific in vivo biomarkers, and to bridge the gap between MRI methods development and neuroscientific applications. At the MPI-CBS, I am combining quantitative MRI with histological data to investigate myelination. Current projects I am involved in study the cortical myelination in chimpanzees and spatially resolved lipid imaging as a method for validation of MR-based myelin markers.

I am also active at the CBS Open Science Initiative and lead editor of the OHBM blog.
