Main Focus
Body and brain are in constant interaction, but their activity is often studied in isolation. I am studying how bodily functions such as the heartbeat are influencing neural activity. Currently my main focus is on heartbeat evoked potentials, how to study them robustly, and how they are altered in states of psychological, neural, and cardiac disorders.
