In the present study, we plan to compare the activity of the Sentence Gestalt (SG) Model -- a semantic language model -- with MEG activity recorded during sentence reading. The purpose of this study is to disentangle the subprocess underlying language comprehension. We aim to test the hypothesis that recurrent connections between the temporal lobe and the inferior frontal gyrus are necessary for the integration and updating of the semantic representation of the linguistic input.
