This talk will explore how we can understand Machine Culture: culture that is generated or mediated by intelligent machines. It will lay theoretical foundations from the field of Cultural Evolution, and provide a roadmap of key open questions. The talk will provide examples of various experiments and observational studies of this phenomenon.
