One of many language studies

Our institute, and our department in particular, have long been interested in how the human brain processes language. What appears to be an automatic process is in fact a complex interplay between our hearing and different regions in our brains. In some other studies, we investigate whether actors and musicians process language differently, or how babies and children comprehend words and sentences. Child Lab
At the Max Planck Institute's Children's Laboratory (Child Lab), for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, we investigate the way children understand and interpret themselves and others.
